For those of you that don’t know, I have another blog dedicated to my own analogue photography. It is called Intra Contra and only features film photography!

So this polaroid business is getting silly now. The camera i have is not doing what it is told. I thought i had a work-around but now it has stopped taking pictures at all…
The next stop is obviously to get a new Camera, and so to eBay! Find camera, place bid, place another, accidentally input max bid of £1611, buy camera for £50 instead of intended £20. Dammit.
Fortunately the person on the other end of the transaction is really nice and has ‘second chance offer’-ed it to the next lowest bidder. If they take it i am off the hook, if they don’t she will knock £25 off!
the excitement is actually to much for me, i am going to lie down and read about the UN…

Yet another contact print. this one was made particularly sharp by flattening the neg properly - it was also exposed for more than an hour.
We used a fridge magnet ‘polaroid’ frame thingy to flatten it. HIGH TECHNOLOGY. yeah.

This is an Earlier attempt which involved taping a Polaroid (almost 5x4 in size) to Photo paper and then exposing it under a lamp for a while (15 mins?)
a contact print if you will - we fixed this one first and then scanned it.

SO my Fuji Instant Film arrived today!!!!!!!
AND HERE IS A NEGATIVE SCAN FROM THAT FILM. oh man. it is a little emulsiony still, I was impatient.
It is a crap picture but you get the point. The print has much more detail in the sky and is a little bluer and i cannot be bothered to upload it.
But this is FUN! You only need a little bleach to remove the backing and then to rinse off the emulsion and you have a very usable neg!
Now all i need to do is find some B&W film and I can start printing! 5x4 CONTACTS!
